Make-up suggestions for holidays

Hey CV,
I saw your post in the lounge section and decided to answer it here.

I had written a post on Derma Blend, you might find something there.

it also contains other product suggestions to cover scars, that i've never tried, but read about.

Another product that i've used in the past, pre-laser, but still liked it is MDskincare All-In-One Tinted Moisturizer sunscreen spf15.

It looks like though, someone on amazon reviewed and said the formula changed. If you have a sephora, go and try it out in the store and see if you like it. I can only base it on the one from 2008, the last time i wore make-up. :)

Lumene bronzing powder

I also really like their eyebrow shaper.

it used to only be carried at CVS, I guess now target carries it. I've never been a fan of drugs store make-up, but i must say, I really like this brand and it's nice that it is inexpensive.

Yves saint laurent Touche Eclat for the under eye area, it's $40, I've never tried it, as my eyes are sunken in and scarred, but maybe for you, it would be helpful. My friend swears by it.

The sue devitt eye intensifier pencils are nice if you want to bring attention to your eyes.

Sorry as these are my favorites from 2008, so I guess I'm old school on the latest make-up, but I did love these products.

I also like chanel's graphite eye pencil.

Happy Holidays. :)

Haha, I just mentioned hopeful's Dermablend post in your primer post, then I read this :)

Find the perfect shade of fire engine red for the holidays and you'll be a happy lady. Rimmel has great choices.

For makeup I use glo minerals gloprotective liquid foundation. For pwder i use ulta minerals foundation pwder. and the ulta finishing pwder that i really love! Makes my skin look flawless! For a primer i use covergirl & olay simply ageless serum primer. It has made a huge difference in the way my makeup looks. And if u want to glow use a bronzer over your face, and neck and chest.

Holy schmoly!!!
Thanks guys, on both posts!!!!! Im definetly going to have to sample a little of this and that;). But that means way more time in the mirror than I expected looking at my skin, bleh.... Awesome, I can't wait to start trying stuff out again. Since ipl, the inner shopoholic of me settled down to anti-shopping, but I think I feel a tinge coming back on and it's going to be fully directed towards the make up counter...lmao
