Laser Safety

Look in particular at the 780-1400 nm range. And a 1540nm fractional laser is supposed to be safe?? And my thyroid and eyes didn't need full-on heavy lead protection? Are you kidding me here? Doctors are actually stupid in thinking these devices are safe. Stupid!

There is definitely some kind of misinformation being imparted to doctors from the device manufacturers. As we've seen on sites like medspa, the doctors interact mainly with the sales reps. The sales reps, just like drug reps, as we know, are going to downplay or even exclude the risks altogether in their sales pitch. Watch the movie "Love and Other Drugs" -- you'll see how it's done.
